Ruru on Hydrangea Print

This open edition print is a highly detailed illustration of a New Zealand Ruru (Morepork) perched on two deep blue blooms of hydrangea, the colour an ode to the night these owls live in. Luna moth wings adorn this stunning owl, chosen for their name and the beautiful colour matching the eyes of this Ruru.

Illustrated and printed in Waimakariri, New Zealand, all of my artworks are painted by hand and then scanned for reproduction. 

Each print is hand signed and printed on heavyweight 310gsm Cotton Rag, an archival, 100% cotton acid and lignin-free paper. All prints are packaged in a clear cellophane bag with detachable board backing.
