Ruru of the Night Print

This open edition print illustrates a watchful Ruru (Morepork) owl perched on a branch, surveying the night. The background effect was created using salt while the washes of deep blue and black were wet.

Illustrated and printed in Waimakariri, New Zealand, all of my artworks are painted by hand and then scanned for reproduction. 

Each print is hand signed and printed on heavyweight 310gsm Cotton Rag, an archival, 100% cotton acid and lignin-free paper. All prints are packaged in a clear cellophane bag with detachable board backing.
