Ruru of the Night Greeting Card

This card features a print illustrating a watchful Ruru (Morepork) owl perched on a branch, surveying the night. The background effect was created using salt while the washes of deep blue and black were wet. A greeting card perfect for an anniversary, wedding, engagement or birthday.

Illustrated and printed in Waimakariri, New Zealand, all of my artworks are painted by hand and then scanned for reproduction. 

Each greeting card is printed on 220gsm matte card and includes a kraft envelope. The interior of the card is blank ready for your message.
